Traveling
After talking with Susie yesterday, it occurred to me that I haven't posted any of my travel pictures from the past few weeks. I didn't really have an opportunity to post many pictures while traveling around. Then, inevitably, upon returning home the sit-down-doldrums hit me I never thought of this blog again.
Well, what pictures should I post?
Our traveling started pretty early in July with a trip to the Great Smokey Mountains and a wonderful, late-afternoon drive through Cades Cove.

We decided that we got to Cades Cove at the exact perfect time. It was cooling off from the heat of the day and we were able to get out of the car and walk around. Mamaw had never been to Cades Cove so it was a special treat to get to walk around the old buildings and cemetaries with her.

We saw a lot of deer out walking around and eating in the cool of the afternoon.

And, we saw a lot of beautiful mountain views.

After our trip to Cades Cove, we made a short stop at Dollywood.

After our stop at Dollywood, we traveled on to Cristy's house to continue our adventure.
Unfortunately, I've got to stop the photo journal at this point. I've learned that there is a maximum number of pictures you can add to one post and I have reached it. The blogger website will not allow me to add any more pictures. I can only assume I have used all available memory. :-)

Goodness! Looks like y'all had a great time. I'm so glad to see Ma'ma out and about again...
Can't wait to see the rest of the pics.
Oh, yes, I did take my Vegas pics with my new camera. Pretty good, huh? And Fred was talking about the money he left in Vegas, not how much we actually spent while we were there, if you know what I mean...
Love, Susie

From one who was there...it was lots of fun! Thanks, Angie, for sharing a few pictures of our trip with the family. You are a great driver and tour guide. It was fun being together and I look forward to more trips in the future!
