It's a miracle

I did catch a fish!!!

I can't believe it!!! It happened... It happened...

I FINALLY CAUGHT ONE!!!

How many years has it been now that I've been buying boats and trying to fish??? I don't really know... I've kind-of lost count.

I guess, the trick is in the teacher that you take with you. You see, I heard about Grey and Ely catching 100 bass on Saturday. So, I invited myself to go fishing with them on Sunday afternoon because I figured they knew the secrets.

I was right!!!

I FINALLY CAUGHT ONE!!!

you didn't catch just one..... I think you caught 8 - 10 didn't you? Definitely more than me. Maybe I need a few more lessons.

Yes... you're right. I did catch more than one.

But, I only showed one in the picture.

I actually think I caught 6. Maybe 5... or 6.

I had 3 when you and Ely came over there. Then, I think I caught 3 more.

This is such a wonderful year. going back to school, teaching Children's Church, working with GForce and now, catching a fish! I don't know what to say. I'm really SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO impressed. When I grow up, I want to be JUST like you!

hahahahahaha

That is too funny!!!

You're right. Daniel will tell on me won't he!!!!

That is too funny!!!

For anyone who doesn't remember, last summer the Lee family and I were all participating in a fishing tournament. We wanted Daniel to catch a fish (any fish) so he could "win" for the 3 year old division.

Daniel had grown bored with fishing and was playing with the bait when I got a bite on his pole. I pulled it in real quick and then started telling him that HE caught a fish.

We immediately packed up our gear and headed toward the weigh-in to have his fish recorded. When I opened the cooler and displayed his fish for the judges, the judge looked at him and said (in a very friendly, cheerful tone), "Did you catch this fish?" Daniel looked right up at him and proudly declared, "No, Angie caught it."

hahahahahaha

I can’t seem to get away with these fishing tales no matter who my audience is...
